Measuring Guide For Blinds

Reading sometimes gets distracted. So, watch this video instead

Inside Mount

A. Check window frame depth:

Measure the depth as shown in Figure. The inside mount requires a minimum of 2 inches of depth within the frame. If it’s shorter than 2 inches then Out mount is recommended.

B. Measure the width and height from the inside frame:

Width Measure from two locations, top and bottom. Use the shortest of your three measurements as the working width. Height: Measure your window frame at two locations Left and right. Use the longest of your three measurements for the horizontal blinds.

Outside Mount

A. Measure the outside area that you want to cover. For example, frame to frame.

Important Note

  1. Inside mount: We will subtract 3mm from the width and 2mm from the height
  2. Outside mount: We will add 0.5 inches to the width and 1 inch to the height to cover the whole frame
  3. The fabric will be 2.5 inches shorter than the cassette. This is not a defect, but a manufacturing standard.
  4. For the Bay window measurements, please contact us through info@betrmotionblinds.com

How To Install Zebra & Roller Blinds

Step 1:

DETERMINE IN-MOUNT OR OUT-MOUNT MATERIAL (WOOD, PVC, DRYWALL, CONCRETE, CEILING)

A. Inside/ceiling mount

(A minimum of 2-inch depth is required or 3 ½ inch depth for flush mount.)

  1. Use bracket A and position it approximately 5 inches away from the left and right corners of the window.
  2. Do not touch the bracket with the window frame at the back and mark two different points (make sure there is 1/4 inch of space between the window frame and bracket A for the blind cassette to fit).
  3. Align both positions perfectly. Use a drill and small screws to install bracket A on both ends.

B. Outside/wall mount

(A minimum of 1 ½ inches of flat wall space is required.)

  1. Position bracket B roughly 5 inches from the end of the headrail on both sides. Mark the drill positions on both ends of the out-mount window.
  2. Use long screws and anchors (optional) to install the bracket.
  3. Take bracket A and combine it with bracket B by rotation motion.

Step 2:

Install the Blinds (Cassette instructions)

  1. Hang the blind on the front hook of bracket A and slide backward.
  2. Push the blind upward by putting force on the back of the blind until you hear CLICK!
  3. To remove it, push the clip upwards
